Drought no more Part II: Central America's Dry Corridor

Recurrent droughts batter Central America with no respite in sight for almost one million people living in the region’s Dry Corridor. Even if it rains again next year, the land will be so parched that the effects of the drought are likely to continue unabated.

Meanwhile, a revolving door of administration officials maintain the slow pace of environmental reform, losing the battle against a changing climate just as the majority of the rural poor continue to lose their crops to rising temperatures.
